Hi I'm Aaron

I live in Arizona. I have been called to serve a mission in Chicago speaking Spanish. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah and moved to Colorado when I was 14. I love music and also modern technology. I participated in marching band, wind ensemble, jazz choir, a Capella singers, and group choir at my high school. I also participated in the 2013 and 2014 all-state choirs. I worked at best buy and loved it. I graduated high school in December and submitted my application to serve a mission. I was called to serve and will begin at the end of April 2014. Shortly after receiving the letter, my family and I found out we would be moving to Arizona before I began my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I was born a member of the church, many my think that is why I am still a member today. I make the decision every single day to continue to be active in the church and continue to live the standards I set for my self in living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I continue to do so because it has blessed my life more than I could imagine. I have learned how to make it through some very difficult trials and now love to help others through theirs. I have learned and know that I will be with my family again after I die and that we will be together for eternity. I know that were it not for this church I would not be making decisions to lead me to a better life. I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves me and every single one of us. I love the scriptures, they help guide me in the right direction every single day. I love this church and Christ and all that come with it.

How I live my faith

As I prepare to serve my mission, I am doing all I can to make sure I will be the best missionary I can. I study the scriptures daily, attend all church meetings, attend the temple often, pray often, and participate with my family all I can. I do my best to be an example to my siblings and family as well as my friends and peers. I find opportunities to serve others and love to do so.

What are Mormon temples used for?

In the temple, it is to further worship the Savior. It is a sacred place, hence the name on the outside, House of the Lord. Temples are the most sacred places on earth. They are where church members make covenants and receive ordinances designed to bring families together and and bind them together for eternity. Show more Show less
