Hi I'm Chaz

I'm a Missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four kids in my family; I have two younger brothers and a younger sister. I have lived in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Kansas, and Utah. I have a lot of hobbies, which include reading, watching anime, video gaming, board gaming, listening to music, listening to comedians, and stuff like that. I love eating out at fast-food places, but I also like to cook. I'm hoping to be a history teacher someday.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into the church, I still needed to have my own experience to really convert me. For a while I had stopped reading my scriptures, stopped praying every day, and didn't really want to go to church. During that period in my life I felt that something was missing. I was in a bad mood a lot. Eventually I realized it was because I didn't really include the Savior in my life. When I started to pray every day and read my scriptures, I found that I was a lot happier. That's how I know the gospel is true. I have really come to know that my Savior loves me, and that when I make him a part of my life, I can be really happy. That's why I continue to follow him. It's hard sometimes, but I know that He is there to help me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the things that God has asked me to do. I read my scriptures every day, I pray to Him and give thanks for everything that He has done for me, I go to church every Sunday, and I do every thing I can to help everybody around me. Right now I am serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in The Great California Ventura Mission. As a missionary I have the opportunity to share my religion with other people, and to see how people have become much happier as they have come closer to our Savior.
