Hi I'm Steven

I'm the youngest of five. I'm a young man pushing through high school, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 15 years old, I was born in Florida and moved to Georgia when I was young and have lived here since then. I'm the youngest in my family with three brothers and one sister. My brothers are all moved out and married so I live with my sister and my parents. I'm surviving and pushing through high school. I love going to seminary. I love running, I'm on the Cross Country team and track team at my high school. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I like to do anything athletic like play basketball, football, ultimate frisbee. I love spending time with my friends and just having fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have a personal testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and of Jesus Christ's Atonement. I know from reading and pondering on the Book of Mormon that it truly is the word of God. Joseph Smith was a true prophet who translated the Book of Mormon and restored the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this Earth. I know from studying and praying that Jesus Christ's Atonement is real. He took upon himself all of our sins to provide a way for us to be forgiven for our mistakes and shortcomings. I know that no matter how many times we mess up or how badly we stray from the path of righteousness that Jesus Christ will always be there waiting for us. There will always be a way to come back into His loving arms.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week. Every morning before school I go to a scripture study class called seminary. I attend temple services as much as I can. I am an active member in my quorum of 14-15 year old boys and in my church's boy scout troop. I do my best to be an example of a Christian at all times and stand firm in my standards. I try to live with the light of Christ inside of me. I try to find ways to help those in my church and community through service projects and visiting other families in time of need.
