Hi I'm Chrystal

I love spending time with my family. I love soccer. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family. My family means everything to me. I am the youngest of 6 kids. I have 4 brothers, 1 sister, 3 sister-in-laws and 2 nieces that I absolutely adore. Every time that I am with my siblings and my parents is the best of times. My parents taught me a strong work ethic when I was young. They taught me to work hard and do my best with whatever I set my mind too. I have always been very involved with soccer. People would call my family "the crazy soccer family". My siblings and myself played competition soccer and traveled a lot for games and tournaments. I learned so much from playing this sport. I love spending time outdoors and enjoying God's creations. I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am serving in the Cambodia Phnom Penh mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family where my parents and my siblings and extended family are very strong members of the Church. Growing up I would look at their examples and think to myself that one day I would be that strong and have a strong testimony. I loved going to Primary as a child and singing songs about Jesus. I felt happy. My home wasn't always happy with 6 kids running around, but there was always a feeling of love and the Spirit of Christ in our home. I wanted to know for myself that this Church is His true Church. It did not just come, I had to work towards building my own testimony, and it is still growing. I prayed and studied to know that it is true. Everyone has trials and hardships that they are dealing with. I am no different. Being a member of this Church has always felt right. Things are not easy, but through our Savior we can find strength and peace. I have been a member my whole life and I will continue to be! I know that my Savior loves me and that He cares about me and wants to help me through this mortal life. I know that this Church is true. To grow we need to follow our Savior's teachings.

How I live my faith

As a youth (12-18) I was apart of different presidencies that were in charge of setting up activities for our group to do. We would reach out to those that we would not see at church or at our activities. I was learning very young that service is so amazing. I learned to love. After I turned 18 I started teaching children that are 6 and 7. I taught them about Jesus and following in His footsteps. Even though, they are so young my class of 6 and 7 year olds were actually teaching me. Currently, I am a full time representative of Jesus Christ. I have left my family and worldy things behind to serve my Savior for 18 months. I am inviting others to come unto Christ and experience the happiness and peace found through Him.
