Hi I'm Scott

I travel, run, hike, photograph, ski, shoot hoops, attend rock concerts, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as the youngest in a family of 4 in Utah, and got involved in sports from a young age. I was always doing something active, riding a bike, playing basketball, tennis, swimming, anything fun and outdoors. I still try and do that today, and luckily I have a great family who also enjoys those activities.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born into a family that was active in the church, I've had to repeatadly commit myself to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Why do I continue to decide to "Be a Mormon?" Because of how peaceful and fulfilling my life is when I follow what I know to be true. When I'm doing what I am supposed to and following the commandments, life is more fulfilling, more fun, and happier. And who doesn't want that kind of life?

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon means that I'll do my best to be a friend to everyone I meet. I don't always succeed in follwoing through on that, but I try and have positive interactions with everyone I encounter. I also get to help our church plan service opportunities like preparing meals for those in need and volunteering at a camp for kids with disabilities. Serving others is rewarding, and a constant reminder of how blessed I am.
