Hi I'm Myrna Navarro Guerrero

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family was baptized in 1970, I was 9 yreas old, we were one of the pioneers in our hometown. We're 8 siblings, (4 boys and 4 girls). The Church has greatly influence our family in spirit (we are an eternal family) physical (we improve way of living) emotional (we also improve our relationship with the entire world) social (we became flexible in terms of cultural differences). I met my husband through the Single Adult Program in Manila, got married and migrated to New Zealand in 1990 with our three children, Lem, Gabe and Myra. We became New Zealand citizens and then was also given an opportunity to migrate to the United States in 1997. I am happy to say that as of now we are all close and active in the church. I am the Visiting Teachers Coordinator and my husband Rafael is the Ward Mission Leader in the Bayside Ward, Fremont Mission. Our family loves to travel around the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe the Mormon church to be true and I have read the Book of Mormon several times and believe it to be the most correct book, as translated in the modern times by the power of the Holy Ghost. If you believe the Book of Mormon to be true, then you are definitely a Mormon.

How I live my faith

As a family we go to church every Sunday - this is the MOST BASIC of all among the other things that we need to do as a member of the true church, to keep our faith strong.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Myrna Navarro Guerrero
If men hold the priesthood, women have the power to help our Heavenly Father bring and norture all His children here on earth. Sometimes we are not aware, but women have so much influence on everyone that if we start right, we will drag along all those we influenced. We may be different from men, but we all have our own responsibility to perform in the eyes of God as well as in the Society. Show more Show less
