Hi I'm Isaac

I'm from Montana, love to hunt, fish, and get outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Helena mt. I graduated high school in 2006, then started college that same year. In 2007, I went to New Zealand to serve a 2-year mission for my faith. In that 2 years, I learned how to speak Chinese and taught many Chinese people who lived there about Jesus Christ. It was really neat to get out of my hometown "shell" for that 2 years and get to see different cultures and teach about Christ. I am back in Montana, attending school and have been married for 2.5 years. I love to hang with family and friends, I love getting in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gettin' some mud on the tires!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a mormon household, so I was baptized when I was 8. I attended church my whole life, but it wasn't till high school that I really gained knowledge of why I was and wanted to be Mormon. My family went through difficult times and I found more peace and help through my faith than I could have anywhere else. Being Mormon makes me happy because I love knowing that God still speaks to man. Many religions profess they have the full truth and power of God, but I know that it was only through the restoration of the gospel that we have the complete truth and power of God on the earth today. Being Mormon gives me hope in troubled times. I know that through the power that was restored, I can live forever with my wife and family after this life.

How I live my faith

I attend church once a week, 9am-12 on sundays. I make monthly visits to fellow church members just checking up and befriending those who are having a hard time.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Isaac
This is a law about health. We believe that God gave us our bodies and we should respect them. Avoiding addictive substances like alcohol and tobacco help you have freedom to choose. We like to have parties, hang out, watch the superbowl, go muddin in trucks and camping, but unlike most people, we don't drink when having a "good time". It makes for a more satisfying and enjoyable experience, that you can remember! Show more Show less
