Hi I'm Braden

I grew up in a small farm town in Utah. I'm planning on going to school at Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the eldest of two children, I enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, and just about anything else that can be done in the mountains. I'm planning on going to college in the year 2014 to study Wildlife Biology. My favorite pastime is simply hanging out with my friends and having fun. An interesting fact about me is that I am completely deaf in my right ear, so yes, I do know ASL (American Sign Language).

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this church is true. I was once on a very bad path and I knew that I needed help to get back on the right track. I had always been a member of the church but I never had a strong conviction of its truth until I started high school. my freshman year I was still doing stupid things and I knew that if I was going to stop, then I was going to have to find someone who could help me through. That's when I met the woman who is still to this day my best friend. She showed me how a member of this church is supposed to act, but more importantly, she showed me the path that lead to true happiness. I know for a fact that Heavenly Father sent this woman to help me gain my testimony, to help show me my true potential, to show me that I truly am a son of God. I know without a shadow of a doubt that this is the church of Jesus Christ, I know that He stands ready to help us all in our time of need if we are willing to go to Him in prayer. I know that Christ payed the price for the sins of all of mankind, so that we can have the opportunity to repent and return to live with our Father in Heaven again.

How I live my faith

I show my faith by praying as often as I can, by doing my best to love everyone as God does, by serving a mission. That gives others the opportunity to return to Christ and our Father in Heaven. While I was at home I taught the youth about what I feel it means to be an example of the believers. I also try to share what I know to be true with everyone I meet. I am always willing to help others in any way I can.
