Hi I'm Tracie

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in New Mexico, and now live in Texas.

About Me

I am a red-headed mom of twins! The twins, boy and girl are 17-years-old. My family started traveling due to my husbands new job. We came to Texas from NM on a 3-year contract, so where my husband and I go after that three years is yet to be announced! I love to read. Reading is my escape from all the drama of the world!

Why I am a Mormon

My father was born in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and my mother was born Babtist. We went to church occasionally. I had a visit from the missionaries when I was in junior high. I loved the message that was given and I was baptised. I attended church for awhile and then became inactive. After I got married and had my twins, I had them blessed when they were about 3 months old and from there on we attended church. My husband, children and I were sealed in the Temple. I cannot express the feelings I felt, but it was a time of joy and peace and assurances. We have had some setbacks of course, everyone does, but I love my Saviour and I know his message is true. I know he lives, and I know this church is true. I prayed about the Church and the Book of Mormon and received an assurance of the truth from the Holy Ghost. Prayer is strong. Talk to Heavenly Father and he will answer you. Any doubts about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or any other faith, speak to your Father in Heaven and he will give you the truth! I love my faith, and knowing our prophet holds all the keys to the Kingdom of God lets me know i'm following the path he would have me take.

How I live my faith

I attend church, read my scriptures, say my prayers and try to live my life how my Father in Heaven would have me live it. I love visiting-teaching, it's wonderful to reach out to our sisters, and when they visit me it makes my day whole. When we get together to visit our sisters, we enjoy talking about our lives, sharing messages from the Church and offering prayers. We find out if our sisters are in need, and if so, we help them. I always try to reach out and lend a hand to those in need. Helping a neighbor, a homeless person, our sisters, our children, our spouses. It lifts my heart when I can offer assistance, it's not about me, it's about those who may need me! Heavenly Father commanded us to feed his sheep and to love them, as that is what he would do. My Faith - well, my Faith is strong. I know, I just know!!!!!
