Hi I'm Amy.

I'm a guitar player, cooking enthusiast, cross country runner, and wife of a college basketball player. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love studying everything that has to do with nutrition and exercise, as well as maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. I taught myself how to play guitar a few years ago and I love taking songs and making them sound completely different. I married my best friend from 8th grade this past fall and have loved every second of being married! It is so fun to be with your best friend all the time and be able to be there to support each other through everything.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the knowledge of the gospel and my testimony of the truthfulness of it brings me so much happiness and peace. I've always taken comfort in the fact that families can be together forever, and now that I am married I am so grateful that I can be with my husband for all eternity. The Gospel truly does provide so much comfort in an increasingly uncertain world. It is a Gospel of happiness, and helps all who accept it to find joy throughout their own unique trials. I have always struggled with feelings of inadequacy, and through the teachings of the Gospel and the Atonement of Jesus Christ I am continuing to overcome them more and more every day. I wish everyone would find for themselves the joy the gospel can bring in their lives.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to work with children in my ward. Children are so innocent and so full of faith and I am reminded constantly of how the gospel really is simple. There is a saying that says to live so that people who don't know Christ will want to know him better because they know you - and that is how I try to live my life; I try to be my best self and present myself in a way where I stand out and act as a true disciple of Christ.
