Hi I'm Amber Gosnell

I'm a wife and Mother of 2 daughters. One of my Daughters has returned home to live with Heavenly Father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and Mother. My greatest Joy comes from being a Mother! I have a 2 year old daughter who is almost 3. She is very, very busy! This last year she had some medical issue's and we finally discovered that she had a tumor on one of her ovaries. We were able to get it surgically removed and have been praying that she will remain healthy for the rest of her life! I gave birth to another daughter last October. She was born with what the doctor's called "a broken heart," and down syndrome. She lived for 24 beautiful days before Heavenly Father took her home. Through my sweet daughter's Rose and Ruby I have learned that each day of life is a gift and to live it to its fullest! I also have fallen in love with children and adults who may have disabilities, and look forward to my interaction with them! I enjoy swimming, cooking, camping and traveling, jumping in leaves, fireworks, laughing, and doing crafty things. I love making my house a home. I also like cats, but I don't own one right now, I'm still trying to convince my husband to get me one:)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I find peace through its teachings. Through losing my daughter I have found the greatest amount of peace and joy in knowing that I can see her again and that my baby Ruby will be a part of our family for an eternity! There is peace in knowing that death is not the end of my earthly relationships. I am a Mormon because I have studied and prayed and searched for truth. I find peace in belonging to a church that has a modern day prophet and apostles and is set up the same way that Jesus Christs church was set up in his day. I believe that God loves us just as much know as He loved his Children in the Bible and New Testament. Because of that Love He has not stopped guiding his children in our Modern Day.

How I live my faith

I work with the 8-11 year old girls in my ward. We focus on memorizing the Articles of Faith and have wholesome activities twice a month to help the girls learn how to live a wholesome, happy life. I go to church on Sunday's. I have Family Night on Monday nights where we recite our Family Mission Statement and love to see how excited my little Rose gets when she is with her parents! I have also started a service group for the community for people who have lost children. We get together once a month and have a service project and a short devotional on our faith. It has been a strength to me to surround myself with people who have experienced some of my same life trials and who still have so much faith in God and his plan for His children.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Amber Gosnell
Absolutely!!! Death is not the end! Through Jesus Christ's Atonement He made it possible for us to live together as families. My greatest Joy in life is my family, and I feel so blessed to belong to a church that believes and promises that we truly can be Together Forever! Show more Show less
