Hi I'm Josh

I was born and raised in Idaho. I love running and lifting. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy being active and learning new things. I like listening to music, I took a guitar class at school and although i'm not that great at it I still like to play. I go to college, I enjoyed my last semester and getting up in the mornings and doing crossfit. I love adrenaline rush so I enjoy doing crazy stuff like cliff jumping. I have had two surgeries in the last year so maybe I should be more careful with the crazy activities. The last one was on my achilles which sent me home from my mission. When i'm not in school I work either driving truck or fixing gaming consoles.

Why I am a Mormon

I know I wouldn't be where I am without my family. I was raised in the church and growing up I just assumed the church was true because the people in my life that I trusted said it was. When I got older I started questioning whether it was true or not though. It seemed like the church had a lot of rules and asked a lot so I knew i would need to gain my own testimony to continue doing what the church asked. I have had so many experiences that have confirmed to me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church of God. I remember one night particularly when i was praying and having the holy ghost confirm to me that the church was true and knowing that God loved me and knew me personally. It was a feeling I will never forget and something I cannot deny. I am a Mormon because it brings me happiness and because I KNOW it's true!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending Church on Sundays where I get to partake of the sacrament and strengthen my testimony of this gospel and of my Savior Jesus Christ. I try to read and study the scriptures each day. There is so much to learn from the scriptures so I am grateful to have them and I know i'm living beneath my privilege when I put off reading them. I pray daily to ask for guidance, feel of the spirit, and give thanks for all the many blessings in my life. I'm not perfect and I have a lot to improve on, but I know that by following the small and simple things that the Lord has asked of us I can improve and be happy!
