Hi I'm Chantell

I am a wife and new mother. I believe that life is beautiful. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to an amazing husband and a mother to a beautiful baby girl. They are my world. I have chosen to be a stay home mother and it has brought me so much joy and happiness to see my little baby grow and develop into her sweet self and sassy personality! :) I am 23-years-old and have a degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice. I have a love for the youth and would love to continue my education so I can become a therapist/counselor for troubled adolescents one day. I believe that everyone is so special and has so much potential! We all get lost at one point in time along the way, and need each others help and support to find our way back. My hobbies are dancing, fashion/shopping, hiking, boating, camping, or anything fun and adventurous! I love life and I believe in living it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found myself and who I truly am through the beautiful teachings this gospel proclaims. I have found that by living the teachings of this gospel I am the most happy! I feel so much more freedom and am not weighed down by bad decisions or binding consequences. I feel as though the teachings have given me wings to fly and become the person that my Heavenly Father knows I am. By knowing who I am, I have a deeper love for those around me because every soul is precious and of great worth. I am a Mormon because it encourages me to be my best self. There is accountability for our actions so I feel more motivated to be kinder, more selfless, understanding, patient, and loving through all circumstances. I am far from perfect and am so grateful for repentance! I know that as humans we make mistakes daily. But this gospels message is of hope! We can be forgiven and we can refine and mold ourselves to be more Christ-like. I am a Mormon because I truly believe that it is Gods church on earth. I feel my Saviors love when I live the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The messages and teachings are so wonderful and bring light into a world that has seen much darkness. Families can be together forever and as a new mother I grasp to that belief so tightly as I hold my baby in my arms. I cannot imagine an eternity without her, but with the gospel, I don't have to. We are here on this earth for a purpose, and I believe it is to become a better person and follow the Saviors example, that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every week and learning about the Savior and how to better myself. I live my faith by being a mother and wife and teaching my small child about her divine worth. I study and search the scriptures for answers to life questions and to learn of others that went before me, so I can follow their examples. I work with the young women in my church and teach them about the Savior, how much he loves them, and how great their worth is. I am a visiting teacher to amazing women. I learn so much from them and have developed great friendships from visiting with them and trying to help them with whatever they may need. I try to serve those around me because I know that it brings me the greatest joy. I try to live my faith daily and I am always learning how I can live it better. Life is all about learning and trying to be better as we go right? :) The thing that helps me live my faith the best is by praying day and night to my Heavenly Father. He knows me and my strengths and struggles. He helps me daily and always encourages me to try and go and do; to not give up hope, but move forward in faith. My faith is the biggest blessing to my family and my life.
