Hi I'm Adam

I grew up in Arizona and love the desert outdoors. I play sports everyday. I love being active with my family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a current student at Brigham Young University studying Business Management. I graduate in April! I love playing sports and doing outdoor activities. My favorite sports are soccer, football and basketball. I moved all over the country growing up so I have loyalties to UM football, UNC mens basketball, and the Green Bay Packers. I was born a cheesehead! I am a single man preparing myself to one day have a family of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that God lives today and wants me to be happy. Because of this knowledge I know that I can pray to my Father in heaven and he will answer my prayers. Just like my father here on earth, my Heavenly Father wants to be involved in my life and help give me guidance when I need it. I know that God loves me because He continues to speak to apostles and prophets today. He has always wanted to provide direction to His children on earth and He is still doing that today. I know these things are true because I have a personal relationship with God. I speak with Him everyday. He comforts me. He guides me. He continually helps me to be better than I can be on my own. Because of this closeness that I feel with God, I have prayed and asked for His help in understanding religious truths. He has confirmed to me personally that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is led by a prophet called of God. The Book of Mormon is literally a record of God's dealings with an ancient people, just as the Bible is such a record. I know that these things to be true for myself, free of anyone else.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Mormon church is not just a Sunday affair. It is an entire lifestyle. Each and everyday I live my faith by how I interact with my friends, roommates, classmates, and God. I treat everyone with respect and try to serve others. I try and be kind and friendly to everyone I meet. I live my faith 24/7. I also have church responsibilities on Sundays where I serve the congregation as a clerk. This opportunity is wonderful as I get the chance to work with local church leaders as well as the congregation.
