Hi I'm Rachelle.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ninth of 11 children. Raised in small town California, went to BYU for college, now back in my home state trying to decide exactly what I should be when I grow up! I love music, sunshine, gathering people around good food, and being active outdoors. I try to find the good in life and people. I like to surround myself with clever friends in hopes of it someday rubbing off on me. :-) I talk a lot and I'm always ready to share a laugh with anyone.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a LDS family and have believed the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Gospel as long as I can remember. I gained my personal testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ when I was 15 years old. It was December 2000-- my Dad had just passed away and either what I had learned, studied and believed all my life was true or it wasn't. As I viewed my father's body I instantly recognized the separation of body and spirit that happens when we die. It was then that I knew the Plan of Salvation was true, that there was life beyond the grave, that my family really was forever, and, that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and The Book of Mormon contained the fullness of Christ's Gospel. What I had simply believed all my life became knowledge. I recommit myself to that knowledge daily-- it has made all the difference in my life and to my understanding of true happiness.

How I live my faith

As a young single adult, I participate in a ward of all singles. I like attending church and growing in the Gospel with other people in a similar stage of life. I am a teacher in the women's organization of the church (Relief Society). My testimony continues to grow as I prepare to teach by the Spirit. I live my faith by regularly attending my church meetings, by reading my scriptures and praying, by attending the temple, by serving.
