Vaiarava Clark: beautiful smile, brown skin, sunshine, Tahitian's flower, Love My Family, Mormon.

Hi I'm Vaiarava Clark

About Me

I am 100% brown from Paradise's Island of Tahiti. I have a great passion for Tahitian dance. I am a full-time missionary in the Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square/Tennessee Knoxville Mission (Oak Ridge City) for 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I like to receive blessings in my life. Even if life is very difficult, I try my best to acquire as much as I can. I'm not perfect but I strive to be. I enjoy every moment because Heavenly Father sent me to a good family to live many experiences (spiritually and temporally) to return to Him by being enriched by the Gospel. I pray every day to express my gratitude for the chance to have the teachings of Jesus Christ. It's really amazing because it leads me to follow in the footsteps of Christ. The greatest blessing that I will NEVER forget is the fact that I'll be with my family for time and all eternity. Through the blessings of the temple with the sacred ceremonies (Sealing and Eternal Marriage), the Family can be together forever. These blessings help everyone to strengthen the relationship of the family and get closer to our Heavenly Father. I would like for you to get the same blessings for your family as well. Because I know that God promises to His Children Eternal Life if we do His will. He is our loving Heavenly Father and He wants you to receive the eternal gift to be able to see your loved ones again. Believe me, it is true!

Personal Stories

Could you talk about your baptism?

I was baptized at the age of 8 by my uncle in August 13, 1998 at Paea, on my birthday. Long before that day, I was really looking forward and was counting the days until the day before. My grandmother taught me one thing that I'll NEVER forget: "You know, as you will follow Christ's example, you will be able to bear the name of Christ upon you and to ALWAYS remember and honor Him throughout your life. Do not ever forget it". Today I am 23 years old, I always remember about my Baptism and the thoughts of my grandmother. Every Sunday I go to church to get closer abundantly of my Savior Jesus Christ by abiding the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith while applying the teachings of Jesus Christ in my life as much as I can. By exercising my Faith daily, I feel closer to God by praying and reading the scriptures with my family and individually. Heavenly Father gives us opportunities to learn and grow in this life by having faith in the Savior of the world. It reminds me that through His Atonement, I can overcome my sins. I am so thankful for this great gift He did for all mankind. The Lord Jesus Christ is the perfect example for me and the world. Faith is a principle of action. I increase my faith and my desire to serve others while doing good deeds, because I know that through choosing the good I can always be happy. I know everybody has faith in Jesus Christ, because we are all Children of God and He loves us very much.
