Hi I'm David
I love waffles, hiking, running, playing board games, and being a Mormon.
I am married to my high school sweetheart. I am studying computer science and Spanish in college and I do tech support for a living. I love running, playing board games with family, and cooking with my wife. I love kids and I can't wait to be a dad. And I am a Mormon.
Why I am a Mormon
I was baptized because I knew it was the right thing to do. I knew that because of the peaceful feeling in my heart. As I have done my best to keep God's commandments since I was a kid, I have felt very happy. In quiet moments, Heavenly Father has answered my prayers and I have felt full of love and joy. I have felt the Holy Ghost testify to me that God lives and loves me. Through my faith in Jesus Christ and repentance, I have experienced the forgiving power of His Atonement. I also have come to know through daily and diligent scripture study that the scriptures (including The Bible and The Book of Mormon) are true. All of these things help me to keep a vibrant and strong testimony of the truth, and that's why I'm a Mormon.
How I live my faith
I read the scriptures every day and I pray often. My wife and I serve as service missionaries at a hospital. We visit the sick, give blessings to those who request them, and bring the Sacrament to LDS patients on Sundays. I try to sign up for service projects in my ward whenever I can and I love being a home teacher. I always strive to keep all the commandments. That is how I live my faith.
