Hi I'm Becky

I am a mommy of 3 very active little boys, a wife to a hunk of a husband for going on 8 years and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My days are spent chasing my 3 little boys (a 5 year old and twin three year old). I attempt to escape laundry by baking, sewing, digital scrap booking, playing games and watching Disney movies with my boys. I recently moved to Utah from Las Vegas, Nevada. It definitely is a change of atmosphere but I LOVE it here. While in Las Vegas, I taught Home Economics for 10 years at an inner city at-risk high school. My husband was recently offered a job in Utah and because of his hard work I am allowed to be a stay-at-home mom and I am LOVIN' it :) I am still learning how to balance form, function, and family. I am a blessed in so many ways in my life! My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ defines who I am as a wife, a mother, and a daughter of God.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon although one of my parents is a convert. I consider myself lucky to have had the gospel through out my life. Heavenly Father and Jesus show us the way through the Bible and Book of Mormon. I have a strong testimony that this is true. It gives great direction in life. It is a driving force to help me be a better wife and mother. I feel the most joy when I see my children living the love of Christ and serving others.

How I live my faith

I believe that faith is showed in how we live day to day. It is not something only reserved for Sundays. It is showcased in the way we care for our family, what kind of neighbors we are and also also what type of citizen we are. We strive to be good neighbors and members of our community. We pray together as a family, and even our very young children have learned to bow their heads in prayer. Faith, the principles of the gospel, and spiritual themes are a regular part of our conversation and day-to-day life.
