Hi I'm Lindsey

I'm a health/fitness addict, world traveler wannabe, make-believe chef, unofficial hair stylist, supposed musician & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a small-town girl from Utah married to a surfer-boy from California. I believe I am the only girl in the world who has not read or watched the Twilight series, doesn’t like reality tv shows or chick flicks, and doesn’t believe all the gossip in magazines. However, I do enjoy health and fitness, cooking, scrapbooking, 4-wheeling, boating, hiking, attempting to surf, traveling, and going out with my husband and/or friends. I love to go out and do things, but am completely content with a friend, a couch, and a bowl of ice cream. I am a dental hygienist and love that it allows me to meet and influence several new people every day.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I grew up in Utah where all my friends and family were Mormons, I have always been considered a mormon. But as I have gotten older, I have gained my own personal testimony of the gospel. I know this is the true church because I have seen the abundance of blessings that come through striving to live life like Jesus did. I have learned to put my trust in him and in so doing, have seen everything work out way better than I even imagined. I know that no matter where I am or how lonely I may feel, I am never alone. The Lord never forgets about me, even when I seem to forget about him. I am certain that anything is possible with the Lord's help. All we have to do is ask.

How I live my faith

One of my new year's resolutions I set for 2012 was to find someone to serve every week. This has allowed me to think about other people more and myself less. I try to receive inspiration on how to help others in any little way possible and act on it. I love to make cards and goodies and take them to people out of the blue. I also go out of my way to befriend someone who I think needs a friend, even if it makes me miss out on some fun.
