Hi I'm Bryan Muller

I'm a musician, a programmer, a lover of blanket forts, and I'm a Mormon :)

About Me

Hi I'm Bryan. I was born in Mortsel Belgium in 1995, and I am 21 years old. My parents started investigating the church when I was about a year old. Two years later they were baptized. I am a student at BYU-Idaho majoring in Computer Science. However, I put that on hold so that I could serve a two year mission for the Lord. I was assigned to the Belgium/Netherlands mission, and I returned in August of 2016. I loved serving and teaching my brothers and sisters in Belgium and Holland. They will always hold a special place in my heart. I enjoy playing the piano. I have been doing that since I was four years old. I am a Black Belt in three different styles of Tae Kwon Do. I love music, it's pretty much my life. I also am a hobby remixer/dj. I'm a bit of a computer nerd, so I love working with databases and applications. I love Linux, and will try to convert every computer user that I know.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon from upbringing. I was born a Catholic, but my parents converted when I was a young child. They raised me in the Church, teaching me its values, and encouraging me to find out for myself if I truly believed it. I never had a "flash of lightning" moment that made me believe everything, and I still have a lot of unanswered questions about the church and the gospel. However, I have come to believe that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that the Priesthood was restored. I have seen and felt the power of the Book of Mormon in my life, and in many others. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to lift those around me. Through personal experience, I've learned how difficult life can be, how each of us face different challenges, and how strenuous it can be to overcome these trials. I have learned to rely on Jesus Christ in these sorts times, and I've learned that He will never abandon me. My favorite scripture is Romans 8: 35 and 37: "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." I know that nothing can separate us from God's love for us, His children. I try my best to share that knowledge with the people around me.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Bryan Muller
The Book of Mormon was written by ancient Prophets, who lived in the Americas, starting about 600 B.C. The Bible has different Books in it, each written by a Prophet or record keeper, the Book of Mormon is organized the same way, with Books written by Prophets or record keepers from different time periods. Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Bryan Muller
No, we love everyone!!! We believe that we are all children of our Heavenly Father (God). Because we know that we are all part of the same family, we have a love for all mankind, and a desire to help and serve each other. As a missionary, a big part of my job is to serve others, regardless of faith. We try to emulate Jesus Christ. He loved and served everyone He met, even those who condemned him to death. The LDS Church has done much good in the world through it's humanitarian efforts. We do this only because we love each and every one of God's children. Show more Show less
