Hi I'm Frank
I'm a husband and father of four kids. I work as a software consultant, I'm a writer of fantasy novels, and I'm a Mormon.
I grew up in Maine and lived on the east coast of the US most of my life. I lived in Australia for a year as a youth, and spent two years in Colombia, South America as a missionary. I've traveled to Canada, Mexico, and Italy, and now live in Oregon. I enjoy exploring the beautiful world we've been blessed to live on, and love to meet people wherever I go. I've been happily married for 16 years to my best friend. We've been blessed with 4 healthy, wonderful children. By profession I am a software consultant, but my passion is writing fantasy novels, and I hope to have one published this year.
Why I am a Mormon
I grew up in a mormon home where I was taught to love and follow Jesus Christ. Through many small experiences, I developed a testimony for myself that Jesus Christ lives and loves us. That knowledge has shaped my life and helped me become far more than I could have been on my own. Knowing Christ, and understanding my relationship with him, affects my life every day. I am a better man for living the gospel. I am a better husband, a better father, a better friend.
How I live my faith
I try to show my faith by my daily works. I love to serve others, and find great joy in helping neighbors, friends, other church members, or the community. Right now I serve as the leader of our local missionary effort, which is a great blessing, as I am privileged to coordinate our local missionary efforts with the full-time missionaries assigned to this area. In the Church, we believe that it is our duty to share the wonderful joy and blessings of the gospel with others, and I have the opportunity to help with that effort on a weekly basis. It is a great thing to see someone's life change for the better as the learn of Jesus Christ and choose to follow him. There is nothing else that can help people more in their lives.
