Hi I'm Kacie

I'm a Mormon.I grew up in Nebraska, love the outdoors and work with children and non profits.

About Me

Im 25 years old and currently am working as a nanny. I also am working my way thru night school and will get my degree in psychology. I love the outdoors and working with children of all ages.I enjoy baking and exercise. Running and hiking are hobbies of mine as well as volunteering in my community.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and thru thick and thin it has been my rock and salvation. I loove that the gospel teaches of a premortal life and Heavenly Fathers plan for each of us. How encouraging it is to know that God has a plan for ME,that He knows me on an individual basis and that He loves me as a daughter. I lve that the gospel teaches me to personally know God...to pray to Him and know that He cares and has time for me. To think that the creator of the universe created me and knows me is an amazing feeling. I know the Savior lives...that He loves...and that He'll return. I know because I believe in a religion that taught me to pray and to listen. God lives. His son lives. And we have a prophet of God on the earth to lead and guide us in these Latter Days. Im Mormon because I wouldnt ever choose to be anything else.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I serve as Sunday School teacher fr 6 year olds. I also try to live the gospel in my everyday life. Christ taught that we show our love for Him thru service to others. I volunteer as often as I can for numerous organizations. I also direct an annual youth sporting event to help youth in the community. I also started a womens group that offers free classes to women designed to teach new skills at no cost to them.Ive served as a visiting teacher and as a Relief Society teacher. It truly is a blessing and an honor to teach so many people who on a daily basis inspire and amaze me. I am grateful for all of my callings and am grateful that I have the oppurtunity to serve.
