Hi I'm Kerry
I grew up in Logan, Utah. I play the oboe. I love my family. I´m a missionary in the California Carlsbad Mission. I´m a Mormon.
I was studying music at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Right now I´m serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the California Carlsbad Mission. I´m going to finish my degree after my mission. I love my family and friends more than anything in the world. I miss them, but I´m so grateful for this opportunity to serve the Lord and I wouldn´t trade this experience for anything.
Why I am a Mormon
I grew up in a family that was already associated with the church. I was baptized when I was eight. When I was a little girl I could always feel the love of my Heavenly Father when I prayed, but I didn´t really know what that meant. Then as a teenager I went through a very dark time in my life. At first I was angry with God. But then my Bishop told me that this was my opportunity to find out who I really was and to show that to the world. So I began to read my scriptures and pray more fervently. After some time I started to realize that as I did this I felt happier. Slowly I started to feel my Savior pull me out of the darkness and into the light of his love. I felt the power of His Atonement change my life and change me. That was when I was truely converted. When I felt that love heal me the whole gospel made sense. I know that can happen for you too. Just go to your Heavenly Father in prayer and let the Savior's love change your life.
How I live my faith
I love to study the scriptures and learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I've served in many capacities in the church. I've been able to use my musical talents to serve the Lord as well as other gifts He's given me. At the moment I'm serving the Lord as a full time missionary. I'm spending 18 months teaching the people of the Carlsbad California mission in both English and Spanish about how they can come unto Christ through faith in Him and His atonement, repentence, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. If you want to know more about this you can talk to some of our representatives. I promise it will change your life for the better.
