Hi I'm Megan
I'm a wife, and a mother of 2. I grew up in Utah and now love living in Texas. I'm a blogger. I'm a Mormon.
I am a transplant to Texas with my family from Utah. We are loving the BBQ, and cowboy boots and we are getting use to the heat. I am a mother to a little boy and a baby girl, who I'm positive are the cutest kids ever. I'm lucky to have married my best friend in the Salt Lake Temple, he is positive he is the funniest guy ever(he probably is). I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, blogging, crafting, and being a mom.
I'm grew up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints. I am the oldest of three and was raised by a single mom. My sweet mother always emphasized that if we were obedient and had faith our Heavenly Father would take care of everything else. I saw great blessings come into our little family that I will always remember and cherish. I know Heavenly Father blesses those that do their best to follow him and keep his commandments. Whether you have been a member of the church your whole life or not, there comes a time when you have to find our for yourself if what you believe is true. My time came after high school. There were times I was confused and really struggled. But through lots of sincere prayer on my knees; I realized what a great peace, joy and clarity the church brings to my life. The gospel teaches me how I can be closer with my family as I come to Heavenly Father and our Savior. I am blessed to be sealed with my husband in the temple so we can have a "Forever Family." I have a little brother serving a mission for our church right now in Argentina. In almost all of his letters he talks about "obedience brings blessings, exact obedience brings miracles." Who doesn't need a few miracles in their life now and then? I am grateful for this gospel, I am grateful for the blessings and miracles it brings into my life, I am grateful for the happiness it brings to me and my family, and I am grateful to be a Mormon.
I am blessed to work with the fabulous women in my ward Relief Society. They lift me up and inspire me to be a little better. Relief Society is an inspired organization! At home my family reads the scriptures and prays together every night. It has become my son's favorite part of the day. He will often remind us that it is scripture and prayer time. We love family home evening, every Monday night. My husband and I take turns teaching a lesson, then we play games, or go on a walk, there is usually lots and lots singing and laughing, we always have a yummy treat and at some point my son and husband end up wrestling. It is such a great way to bring a happy spirit into our home and we love spending time together.
