Hi I'm Chris

I am the father of six energetic children. I work on engines and go rock climbing. I live on a farm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to use and create things with my hands. I can figure out how to do most things myself if given enough time. I used to break tractors for a living but now I help design boat engines. I like big family gatherings with lots of great food, especially spicy food. I lived in the French Caribbean for a while so I can speak French pretty well. I like to go rock climbing and have become a lead instructor in climbing for the Boy Scouts. I enjoy taking youth groups rock climbing and caving whenever I have a free moment.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of God's church because I know that he has a plan for me to return to live with him. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that through following his teachings I can continue to be happy and have purpose in this life. I also know that it is through Christ's Atonement that I can live again after this life and receive forgiveness for my sins and weaknesses as I strive to be more like Christ.

How I live my faith

In the church I enjoy teaching the adult members about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. I was asked to teach a class of about 50 adults concerning the Gospel of Christ and even though I was intimidated at first, I have really appreciated the opportunity to share my testimony of our Savior and help others to understand his doctrine.
