Hi I'm Dallin

I grew up in Idaho, and worked on a farm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a nice little town in Idaho, with my family of 10 kids. I was on the cross-country, wrestling, and track team all throughout High School. I took a welding class and am very interested in doing that for a living but I'm not completely sure yet. I worked on my uncles farm for about a year and a half. I worked with the cows, and crops. I learned a lot there, and was earning money for my mission. I plan on going to college, and getting a degree. I don't know what I want to do for a living yet, but I am planning on getting certified as a welder. After awhile I plan on getting married and raising a family of my own!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or "Mormons." My parents both have grown up in the church as well. I always sort of just went off my parents testimonies of the church, I didn't know 100% that it was true. My parents taught me so much though. Now, I defintely know this church is true! Without a doubt in my mind I know its true. It has brought me so much happiness and direction in my life. I don't know where I would be without it. Serving a mission has really opened my eyes to whats out there, and how much confusion there is on the earth. Families are being destroyed by so many things and it is so sad to see. Families are central in Heavenly Fathers plan. I never knew how important it was until I came on my mission and could see how other people were living, and how many problems they had in there families. The only way our family has stayed so close together and happy is because of the Gospel. The Gospel brings so much happiness into families lives. The Gospel has given me a reason and a purpose to do my best in this life so that I can live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I try my hardest to live what I believe. By obeying the commandments God has revealed to his prophets. Of course none of us are going to be perfect, and I am not, but Itry to strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ so that I may be saved by his mercy. I study the scriptures to learn more about his life and how I can pattern mine around his. I am wanting to help people out with any service I can find.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No! We are very grateful for Joseph Smith, and all that he went to, to restore the church again on the earth. He is a great man, but we do not worship him. We believe he was an ordinary man called of God. But we only worship our Father in Heaven, and His Son Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes I do believe we have a prophet today. If Heavenly Father called Moses a prophet back in the Bible to lead his people, why wouldn't he today? There is so much confusion today on which church is true. Heavenly Father loves us so much and doesn't want us to be lost. We need a prophet to lead and guide us so we have direction. What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

The Mormon life ROCKS! I love it always! Knowing that I am tring my hardest to obey God's Commandments gives me peace of mind and strengthens my relationship with my family. I would not desire any other life than this one! It is where I find my most happiness. Show more Show less
