Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon. I grew up all country boy on a ranch in the White Mountains of Arizona.

About Me

I feel very fortunate. Despite not marrying until my 30's, I found a wonderful girl and we are the parents of five great children. When time permits, I enjoy golf, hiking and sporting events with my family. But whatever the event, if it is with my wife and children, its better. There is something about being outdoors that really speaks to me. Perhaps it is all the time I spent as a youth growing up in the wide open space of a rural community. In any case, looking at all of Heavenly Father's handywork on the earth and in the Heavens pleases me. As a Nurse, I have come to appreciate how fragile life is and have taken to offering frequent hugs to my wife and children. I see daily reminders in the form of accidents or illness that Father in Heaven can call us home at any time.

Why I am a Mormon

My life would be much different without a knowledge of Jesus Christ. Attending Church meetings on a frequent basis acts as an anchor for me to stay grounded and remember what is most important in my life. The knowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior gives me desire to become more than I am now. It also gives me hope that through Him I can be clean and return to Father in Heaven. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me peace of mind that life as I know it doesn't just end when I die but gives me assurances that I can enjoy an eternal relationship with my family in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I serve as a Missionary in my ward which allows me to share my testimony with others I meet about the mission of Jesus Christ. Sharing my testimony with others allows me to reflect and ponder frequently the gospel principles which I have come to know as truth. A knowledge of the truth allows me to make better spiritual decisions for myself and help me to guide my family in the safest path while we navagate the many pitfalls the world may offer.
