Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in Medicine Hat, Alberta. I'm just starting out as a lawyer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young lawyer working for the government. I really like my job, which involves working with contracts every day. In my last semester of law school I was able to do an exchange in England--I loved it and am planning to go back soon! In my spare time I love reading and watching movies, as well as writing. Music is one of my great passions in life--I play piano and guitar and wish life was a musical so I could burst into song at any given moment. I live in a large city now, but grew up in a smaller place. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister, two amazing parents, and nine (soon to be ten) nieces and nephews that I adore.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to two parents who were and still are dedicated to the gospel (they actually just left on a mission to a far corner of the world!). They provided me with a strong foundation on which to build my own faith. I have read the Book of Mormon and know that it's true--and that Joseph Smith, its translator, is a true prophet. He was led by God to re-establish the gospel on the earth, as precious truths had been lost through the centuries since the first apostles started spreading the gospel. Joseph Smith has been succeeded by an unbroken line of inspired prophets, including the current prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, who is God's mouthpiece on the earth today. The Holy Ghost can testify of these and many other truths if you ask God to help you know them. The Church is true! Find out for yourself, and you won't be sorry!

How I live my faith

Right now, I am a representative of the young single adults in my ward on a committee that is comprised of representatives from six young single adult wards that cover my city and the surrounding area. We plan fun activities to help young single adults meet, socialize, and make friends.
