Hi I'm Caila

I love to sing and play guitar. I love to make movies with my friends. I want to make a difference in someones life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Caila. I'm a high school student. I really love music and could not live without it. I really like to make movies with my friends for school assignments or just for fun. I love going to the youth dances and having fun with my friends. I really like to read and sometimes I like to write. I find WW2 and the Holocost very interesting, as well as the Civil War. I would like to start volunteering at my local hospital and play music for the kids in the pediatric center. When I graduate high school, I hope to have an associates degree and diploma at the same time. I can do that by dual enrolling at my high school and local Jr. College. After that I hope to go away to college and see a different part of the country. During the summer, my mom always takes my sisters and I to the beach almost every day. We love the sun and the water.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church. I grew up singing primary songs about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love going to church and the warm feeling I get whenever I go. Now that I'm a teenager, things have gotten a lot more difficult for me to live the gospel, but I've been trying my best to continue with the life that Heavenly Father wants for me. I'm so thankful for the leaders and friends I have at church. Without them I don't know where I would be today. I'm so grateful to them for strengthening my testimony through their actions and for them always being there to show me the way and to help me get out of trouble. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon and that Jesus really is the Savior and I'm grateful to have this knowledge at such a young age.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I am 1st councellor over a group of young women called the Miamaids. I help plan activities for our group and help other girls feel welcome and try to help them live the standards of the church. One time a few my friends and I planned a ward talent show. It was so much fun to plan and carry out. It made us feel really good that we accomplished something that usually adults plan and carry out.
