Hi I'm Lucia

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 44 years old, I'm a certified nursing assistant at the local hospital and I'm planning on going back to College in the Fall to become a Nurse. I'm a wife and a mom to 5 children. Our oldest daughter is in College now. I enjoy reading, cooking, scrapbooking and making cards.

Why I am a Mormon

I was 19 years old when I was first introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints. Growing up in Italy I was raised Catholic, but by the time the missionaries came to our house I was not interested in religion at all. The missionaries came to our house for months teaching my mother. In the beginning I didn't want to even talk to them, not even about stuff that was not church related. Eventually I came around and we became friends. After my mother was baptized (without my knowledge) the missionaries asked if I wanted to listed to the missionaries discussions. I said yes. Within a week I was baptized. At the time I don't think I had a real testimony, but I knew that the teachings of the church and the principles were going to be good for my life. I was right! In time by living the Gospel I received a testimony about its truth. I know the Book of Mormon is true and Joseph Smith Jr was a prophet of God. I'm grateful for this knowledge in my life and for the blessings I have by being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm the new librarian and I love it! I want to serve my fellow brothers and sisters in Gaffney the way my Heavenly Father wants me.
