Hi I'm Jamie

I am a stay at home mom of 6. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I was 26 my first husband died of cancer leaving me a single mom to a 2.5 year old and a 6 month old. My world came crushing down. I didn't know how I was going to get through that sorrow. I found an amazing man who loves me and my two children has his own and has been such a great support to me. We have a total of 6 kids. He had 2, my 2, and then we have 2 together. I love being a stay at home mom. It has it challenges being a blended family, but there are so many joys as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful that I was born in this church and to have the foundation my parents taught me. I was a very lucky girl to have two parents who taught me to love the Lord. I love my Savior and I know without a doubt this is his church on the earth today. I could not image n my life without it. When my husband died my world came tumbling down. But the Savior took my hand and helped me get back up. I felt so much peace knowing that families are eternal and we are only on earth for a short period of time. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior and he has testified to me by the spirit I feel that this is the true church. He answers my prayers. It may not be what I want to hear but it is what he knows is best for me. With the world being so crazy these days, it is so nice to know that there is a plan and if I stay close to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ everything will be ok. That doesn't mean we don't have sorrow or trials, but it means we are not alone.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a daily bases, not just on Sunday, but everyday. We pray and ready daily our scriptures as a family and by myself. My Faith helps me teach my children these true principles on a daily bases. I have served with the youth in the past and love working with them. I love the visiting teaching program. It is a way that we can help our sisters and be a messenger for our Savior.
