Hi I'm Benny

I'm a Christian. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 23. I'm proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of 5 and have been happily married to Betty for 35 years. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 23 and served a church mission to England for 2 years. I grew up in a protestant Christian Church and have been a Christian my whole life. I am now a grandfather of 7 and gratefully enjoy my walk with Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

During College I was introduced to the church through a friend. I was amazed at the young people I met who could have fun and enjoy life without alcohol, drugs or pre-marital sex. As I associated with them I realized I wanted what they had and realized I would have to change my life. The missionaries of the church showed me the path necessary to gain an understanding of the restored gospel and why the young people in the church were so happy, fulfilled and motivated. My life has not been the same since I joined Christ's true church and I have been blessed with a wonderful wife, children, grandchildren, prosperity and a wonderful life.

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith by working with the youth in the church, participating in Boy Scouting, teaching Sunday School and participating in our church choir and other musical opportunities. I do volunteer work in our community and give to charitable organizations and to the humanitarian organizations in our church. I assist others by visiting in the homes of members who have needs. I live my faith by strengthening my immediate family and extended family through reunions and genealogy. My faith rests on Christ's admonition to help others by lifting the hands that hang down and strengthening the feeble knees.
