Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm a good guy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I, at the moment, am looking for employment to raise money for college. I have studied for a year at the university level and plan on getting a B.A. in Biology. I was raised in a large family who have encouraged and expected the best out of me. As for interests, I am a sucker for musicals. I love to sing and dance, be it on stage or in the kitchen. Growing up, my three brothers and I would play sports in our back yard, two-on-two. The sports ranged from soccer to baseball, basketball, football, hockey, volleyball, etc. From my mother, I inherited a love for reading. She and my father on occasion would read to my brother and me at night when we were younger. I plan to do the same with my future children. I am good natured. I care about those around me. One could say I'm gullible... I just like believing the best of others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a devoted mormon family. I never really doubted if the Mormon church be the true church of God. I could feel it was true. This feeling became a frequent sensation in my life. Tough times would come, and I would kneel and pray to God. And I would know by the power of His spirit that He lives and is aware of me. Equally, I would read from the Book of Mormon and receive that same confirmation. No other book has meant so much to me. The Book of Mormon brought me to the knowledge of the love of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love this book. I know it is the word of God.

How I live my faith

I try my best to be my best. I love God, so I keep His commandments and serve His children. This includes, but isn't limited to: attending church services every Sunday, and setting the day aside as a "Day of Rest", reading the scriptures and praying often, visiting the sick and afflicted, the widowed and the hungry, paying an honest tithe, and not having sexual relations until after marriage. I am a teacher, and administer sacred ordinances. I served as a missionary for two years in Argentina. I do my best to serve those around me, and often find the opportunity to do small things for others.
