Hi I'm Dennis

Hi. I'm a husband, father, grandfather and retired veterinarian. I am proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as a member of LDS church. My father was a convert. My mother comes from a long line of LDS members. I love the foundation principles taught by my parents and used them to guide me through my life especially during my university studies and then during my professional career as a veterinarian. I married a wonderful girl and we became the parents of 5 daughters and 1 son and now the grandparents of 13 grandchildren. I love to read, play sports, fish and travel. I have enjoyed service in scouting, community service and professional activities. I have been privileged to serve in many leadership positions in both the church and community

Why I am a Mormon

My parents example caused me early in my life to search out why I should be a "Latter-day Saint". Through experiences and prayer I have come to know the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have been privileged to serve in the church in many capacities which have taught me "that when you are in the service of your fellowman you are only in the service of your God". This has also been reinforced by service in scouting, community, and professionally.

How I live my faith

Today my wife and I serve as full-time missionaries at Historic Kirtand. This is a wonderful site of church history where I can bear testimony of the calling of Joseph Smith as a prophet of God and that the new scriptures, the Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants, support the Holy Bible and testify of Jesus Christ. I believe in Jesus Christ as the living Son of our loving Heavenly Father. The story of the restoration is true and I am grateful to share that with each one I meet.
