Hi I'm Liz.

I grew up in Southern California. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love living in Los Angeles, but I also like to travel and explore new horizons. I like collecting records, dancing, watching movies and living life to its fullest.

Why I am a Mormon

I never in a million years expected to become mormon. I was raised catholic by a wonderful mother who taught me about Jesus Christ, the savior of the world. I believed in God, but in college I decided that organized religion was not for me. I became intrigued when I learned that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believed that Jesus Christ walked the Americas. I wanted to learn more so I attended a service and soon after began meeting with the missionaries. I loved that mormon beliefs were never pushed on me. I would receive a lesson from the missionaries and then I was invited to find out for myself by studying the scriptures and do as the bible instructs in James 1:5 and ask God through prayer. I did pray, I received an answer, and I decided to be baptized into the mormon church. I was baptized May 20, 2007 and it was the best decision of my life.

How I live my faith

I try my best to be a good example. Also, I have committed to striving to do the little things unto perfection. These are things like praying every morning and night, reading my scriptures and keeping a journal. I am also an avid list maker and goal setter. I keep track and evaluate myself often in all aspects of my life. This helps me stay on track and see where I am doing well and where I need to improve.
