Hi I'm Lorraine

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother and a grandma. I have 8 children and 26 grandchildren. I love spending time with My family. We love playing games, cooking, baking and BBQ-ing outdoors ( dad is the BBQ king). We make it a point to get together as often as we can, even if it is one family at a time in this busy world, But when we do it is a crazy, fun, memorable time. I love music, (I have aways wanted to learn to play the Piano, still a goal) spiritual, soft rock, and the oldies of course. I also love to read, all kinds of things, historical, upbeat and fun, both book reading and audio, I can listen and do other things at the same time or just relax and listen. Both my husband and myself have worked in sales a majority of the time. We love people and interacting With them. We are at the present time on a 18 month Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it been our lifetime goal to serve the Lord. I have always been a member and my husband is a Convert of 41 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been close to my Heavenly Father, I know he's always there when I need to talk to him. I know he knows me personally, and knows me by name. I have always tried to be an example to my Family and friends, and people i meet because I know that by dong so it not only helps me to be happy, it shows my love to my Heavenly Father. Growing up in the church doesn't mean you automatically have A testimony, but you have to learn for yourself. You can do that by study and prayers. You have to humble yourself and truly have a desire to know as you pray. I know when the Holy Ghost testifies to me, by how I feel in my heart and often time in music. Music just fills your soul and gives you goosebumps all over. I love the gospel and the joy and comfort it brings to my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my Faith by treating others the way I want to be treated. By being kind and considerate. I try to serve where I see there's a need. I give my time, listen when people need to talk, hugs when It's just comfort that's needed. And saying sorry, when I need to say sorry. Most of all, to be grateful For what I have, what others do for me. Gratitude to our Heavenly Father, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
