Hi I'm Cody

I sing, love when people smile and hope to improve my character each day. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Throughout my life I have been blessed in many ways. I have been blessed with the gift of music and love to sing. Music has deeply impacted my life and has shaped me into who I am today. There is nothing better than singing to an audience with the intention of changing someone's life for the better while also changing my own. Throughout school I've particapated in many chiors and loved every minute of it. I also pursued some solo interests in which I have developed my true passion for music. I had the opportunity to take private voice lessons to improve my abilities and I hope to continue that trend throughout my life. Almost two years ago I left my home to serve as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have thorally enjoyed my service. Each and everyday for two years we wake up with the intention of not only continuing our own conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ but helping others develop that same conversion as well through faith, repentace and baptism. I have personally seen the lives of many change as they have developed greater faith in the Savior, in turn I have received greater faith that Heavenly Father really does have a plan for His children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith of my family but ,as all members of the church, had to seek my own conversion. There have been times where I have had doubts and concerns throughout my membership but when all is said and done, there are things given from God that cannot be taken away by any other influence. I have my weaknesses just as everybody else but I have felt the fruits of repentance and know that the Son of God really did lay down his life for my sake. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I know that Heavenly Father loves us and desires that we return to live with Him again. I know that if we commit to follow the Savior with an eye single to His glory we can find lasting peace and joy throughout our lives. I know that conversion comes from reading the words of Christ and then doing what He directs. I know that the bible and the Book of Mormon are the word of God and create a powerful witness that Jesus is the Christ and that Heavenly Father loves His children and has a plan for them. I know that we receive guidance today from a living prophet and that the Church of Jesus Christ was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

Currently I live my faith by serving a full-time mission for the church. As a missionary my soul purpose for two years is to invite others to come closer to Jesus Christ by being baptised by someone holding the authority of God. It was a sacrifice to leave home to devote these two years entirely to the service of God but I have been truly blessed because of it. From the time we wake up to the time we retire to bed we are completely focused on strengthening the faith of others and helping them feel God's love. Although my two years of service are coming to an end I look forward to continual service as a disciple of Christ and serving in any capacity to which I am called.
