Hi I'm Ashley

I love flowers! I grew up on a small farm in a small town. I have a beautiful daughter! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a small town country girl. I grew up in Idaho and was raised on a farm. I have 6 siblings and 2 wonderful parents who raised me in the LDS faith. Growing up my siblings and I loved the outdoors and playing in the fields. I went to a very small school with only 250 kids Kindergarten through 12th grade. I graduated from High School and went to Brigham Young University - Idaho, I received my Bachelors degree in Horticulture with a Floral Design Emphasis. I love Flowers!!! I am divorced and a mother of a beautiful daughter! I love family and I love living!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and for as long as I can remember I have attended church with my family. I was baptized at 8 years old. My parents taught me the principles of the gospel and how to apply those principles to my life. Through life's experiences I have come to gain a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. I know that this gospel is true, I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith truly did see God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. I know that the Jesus atoned for the sins of the world, and made it possible for us to return to live with our loving and caring Heavenly Father again. I know that through strict obedience to the prophets and apostles words, there is joy and happiness to be found. I know that the Lord is mindful of us and has so much in store for us. I know that as I have come unto the Lord he has blessed me and shown me his love. I know that this church is true, I believe it, and I do my best to live it. One of the greatest blessings I receive from being a member of this church is knowing that my family can be together forever, not just this short mortal existence but for eternity. I feel peace and safety by living the principles of the gospel and I am so grateful for it in my life. I would be lost without it, but instead, I know who I am, where I came from, and where I am going. What a joy and a blessing this gospel is to me.

How I live my faith

Service is a huge part of my life. I was raised by parents who taught me that service is key to happiness. In the church we are given opportunities to serve our fellow men. Christ was the perfect example of service and he asked us to "Come follow me." I have been blessed to serve in a few different assignments, but perhaps my favorite and most cherished assignment is visiting teaching. Visiting teaching is where I have been assigned a few different women (sisters) in the ward, to go and visit them, share a message, and find ways to bless their lives. This is a true blessing to me, to be able to help teach and bless these sisters that I grow to love so much. In all actuality they are really the blessing my life. I do my best to be who my Heavenly Father would want me to be. Just as I would be so sad if I ever disappointed my parents, I never want to disappoint my Father in Heaven either. I try to live the best I can, by being serviceable to others, and acknowledging my Father in Heaven in all things. I am so grateful for all that I do have and I know that it is all a tender mercy of Heavenly Father.
