Hi I'm Loyd

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Loyd and I have been happily married for 30+ years to my eternal joy and sweetheart, Arlene. I have been blessed as a father to have 4 incredibly fantastic children, and currently 3 grandchildren, whom I cherish. I know that I am a son of a loving Heavenly Father and that my Savior, Jesus Christ lives. I know that through my Savior I can return and live with my family eternally, as the plan of salvation has been revealed through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I enjoy the blessing of work, service and spending quality time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because while in my youth I read the Book of Mormon and took the challenge and the promise that the Prophet Moroni gave me; read, ponder, pray and ask Heavenly Father with real intent if these things are true and if I did that the spirit of the Holy Ghost would testify that they were true. Over the years I have continued this process to reaffirm my faith and testimony of the truthfulness of God’s restored gospel. It is simple. It is true. It is eternal. God live, Jesus is the Christ, they have an eternal plan and we all have a purpose. I have seen testimonies expanded and lives blessed in my own family and in those whom I have been privileged to associated with here in the US, the Philippines, France and Germany.

How I live my faith

Since we are a covenant making people I strive to live my faith daily by having the type of relationship with my wife and children that Heavenly Father wants with me; never putting in question my integrity and commitment to them, nor jeopardizing our eternal happiness. As a result of the many years of serving within the Young-men and Scouting organizations the Scout Law is a simple way of exemplifying a Christ-like life. A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. These principles, along with others, I strive to live as I obey God’s commandments and serve those whom I associate with.
