Hi I'm Christine

I'm a wife and a mother and a grandmother. I'm a RN. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Christine. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin. I am currently working full time as a RN and going to school on-line. My favorite thing is to spend time with my family. I also enjoy, rare though it may be, a little quiet time. I love to read and listen to music. I love going to the temple and knowing that families can be united for eternity. I like to do geneology and am currently participating in the Family Search indexing projects.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is where I learned the truth about the Savior and His gospel. I know the gospel is true. I know that Joseph Smith was the prophet to restore the gosple to the earth. I know this because I have read every word of the Bible and the Book of Mormon for myself and I have prayed to know the truth. I know that God hears and answers our prayers. I have lived the principles of the gospel and have been blessed in ways that I could never have imagined. I know that repentance is possible and that families are eternal. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the greatest blessing in my life. I gained this blessing from being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures and praying on a regular basis. I attend the temple whenever I am able. I serve in the Primary as the Activity Day Girls leader. This means that twice a month I work with the 8-11 year old girls on helping them learn their duty to God. I am the Compassionate Service leader for my area, which gives me the opportunity to reach out to those in need and to call on others to assist, for those in the church as well as in the community. I do my best to live the gospel standards and to teach those standards to my children.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, we are Christians. We believe in Jesus Christ, we preach of Him and invite all to follow Him. As Christians we do all we can to follow the example the Savior set for each of us by serving our fellow man and reaching out to those in need. Show more Show less
