Hi I'm Trevor

I'm from Utah, I'm a missionary serving the Lord in the GKLM and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm 23 years old, I have two little brothers and a little sister and awesome parents. I like to write short stories and hope to be an author or sports journalist. I also like to tell jokes but I'm usually the only one that laughs at them. Nothing scares me (except for dragons). My mom always said I was going to go far but Kentucky wasn't what I had in mind. I served a mission in Kentucky, I served all around the state in Somerset, Liberty, Louisville, and Evansville Indiana

Why I am a Mormon

Okay, so I grew up in the chruch but for most my life I lived on my parents testimony, as I grew up, I sang the songs in primary and went to the chruch activities and all that good stuff but when it came down to the tough questions like: "So are you gonna serve a mission?" and even the small ones like: "Do you read your scriptures often?" I would just reply "Yeah, whatever..." and go on about my day and not really think too much of it. I would start to make excuses like, when the NBA season is over, I'll start to seriously think about going on a mission but that time would come and go and I would make up a new excuse like, when i get a job to help pay for my mission, then i'll start to prepare. When I was 20, my ward got a new Bishop and i guess he decided to take me as a challenge, One day he visited me and challenged me to read the Book of Mormon, 10 pages a day every day. I kinda did what I always did and just be like yeah whatever. It wasn't til a month or two later that i decided to actually take up the challenge. I started reading January 1st and read 10 pages a day and kept to it, sure there was a day or five where i was too tired or was having a bad day and didn't want to read but I stuck to it and finished the first week of March. The next day, I fasted and prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was true, I didn't get the answer all at once, I didn't get it the very next day, I didn't get my answer in the way that i expected it to be... but I got it and that's all that matters.

How I live my faith

Well, right now, I'm serving a 2 year mission for the Chruch in the grand old state of Kentucky, but other then that, I just do everyday things like reading scriptures, praying daily, doing whatever I can to keep my life in harmany with the Gospel
