Hi I'm Tania

Hi, I was born in Nicaragua. I grew up in Los Angeles and now I rock out in Austin Texas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to tell people I grew up in the ghetto of East LA. That is partially true, but in reality it wasn't all that ghetto, I just like that it makes me sounds tough! I love music, the ocean and all things recreation! I graduated from college with a degree in Recreation Therapy... which means I get to play with kids who have disabilities while working on social, behavioral and emotional issues. I have two life long goals: The first is to be as green as possible. I try to use Earths resources as best I can (this ranges from using cloth diapers to driving a hybrid). My second goal is to see the world (that can range from visiting the local "museum of junk" to traveling to Greece).

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Catholic and had lots of questions that people didn't want to answer. My freshman year of high school I became really good friends with a girl I played water polo with. She was a mormon and answered all of my questions. I prayed about the Church and its teachings and found it all to be true. I LOVED EVERYTHING she shared with me and I wanted to know more. I have been learning about God and Jesus Christ since.

How I live my faith

I don't just go to Church on Sundays, I try to live everyday so that someone can be proud of me. Not only do you see young men wearing shirts and ties sharing the Gospel, but you also see young girls wearing skirts and dresses... that was me in Houston for 18 months. Those were the best memories I have of service. I now coach volleyball to the high school kids in my church.
