Hi I'm Reece

The best part of life is being a father and grandfather. I’m a real estate guy at heart. I love real estate deals, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of eight beautiful children who have blessed me with 21 of the most beautiful, gifted and talented grand children you have ever seen. The best part of my life is being a father and grandfather.

Why I am a Mormon

My membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has blessed every aspect of my life. It has blessed me as a husband and a father. My first wife died of breast cancer. Instead of tearing our family apart it brought us closer together knowing that because we had been married in the temple we had the promise of being together forever if we lived worthy of that blessing. As a father I can’t imagine trying to pass my values on to my children without the help of living prophets and the scriptures. When we read together as a family and discuss the teachings of the living prophets as well as the scriptures it helps me clarify what really matters to me and provides a structure and a wonderful opportunity for me to pass those values and beliefs on to my children and grand children. I have a very inquiring mind. I have always had a need to understand where I came from, why I am here and where I am going after this life is over. I have found deep and profound answers to those and every other question I have asked in my life in the teachings and doctrines of this amazing church. I love the doctrines that were taught by the prophet Joseph Smith and every latter day prophet since him. Those doctrines speak peace to my heart and mind. They give me perspective that calms me and fills me with a desire to help others that I see struggling.

How I live my faith

I will always remember a time when I had done something that disappointed my father and even caused him some embarrassment. He quietly said to me, “Son, I have done all I could to give you a name you could be proud of. I hope you will do the same for your children.” I have thought about that responsibility many times in my life since that day. I have also reflected on how it applies to me as a son of God. Knowing who I am -- literally a son of the most perfect and powerful and wonderful being in the universe -- has caused me to want to live a better life. I have found that my life as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has given me an understanding of my true potential as a son of God and a burning desire to live a life that is pleasing to Him who gave me that life.
