Hi I'm Ali

I am a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latte-Day Saints. I have been called to serve in the Utah Provo Mission.

About Me

The Lord has called me to serve in the Utah Provo mission for the next 18 months of my life. I report to the Mexico MTC on October 1st to learn the beautiful language of Spanish to preach to the people who the Lord has prepared for me to teach. I am very privileged and blessed to have this wonderful opportunity. I want families to be together forever and to watch people change their lives for the better.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this church is true with all my heart. Believe me when I say it hasn't always been easy, but it has definitely been worth it. I cannot imagine my life today and where I would be without the gospel in my life. It has shaped me to who I am today. Middle school and high school really tested my love for this gospel and who I was. I continue to follow His gospel because I know the happiness that it brings me in my life. The church gives me the opportunity to live the best life possible. I keep wanting to have the desire to improve myself and who I am because I want to become a more Christ-like person. I want to be all that He sees in me. The commandments keep me safe and allow me to be free from the pain of disobeying them. The Book of Mormon and Bible are my source of comfort when I need to read inspiring words to keep me going. When all hope seems to be gone I rely on His strength and my faith to carry me through. Thomas S. Monson protects me with his words of warning and comfort. He is truly a prophet called of God to lead our church in these last days. I know that a 14 year old boy named Joseph Smith prayed to know which church was right and witnessed the Father and the Son appearing unto him. I will be forever grateful to him for bringing me this gift of the gospel that I may live it and become all that I can through His love. He has always made up the difference whenever I could only go so far. I feel His loving embrace. The day that I see Him, I pray He will take me into HIs loving arms and say "Well done my daughter. Well done." I am a daughter of a King and I will act like one. I know He blesses me everyday with His tender mercies. I love this gospel and for everything it has given me.

How I live my faith

Coming from Ohio where Mormons are scarce, just living the standards in the "For Strength of Youth" and striving to be Christ-like at all times.
