Hi I'm Julie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My obsessions are books, games, friends, and family. My hobbies include old or just cool coin collecting, reading [yes, for fun], baking, drawing, and general nerdy things. I don't understand the popularity of fashion or sports, though I won't turn down trying to make myself look better. I think exercising is evil, but still push myself to excel in everything. I have an adorable puppy, and the meanest cat in the world and love both very much. I aspire to be a singer, but if that falls through I've always loved old relics and bones, and would love a chance to study them and their origins.

Why I am a Mormon

Origonally it was just because of my mother. She was born and raised in the church, so of course I had to as well. I sometimes even thought of the church and even my mother as lame and un-cool. I don't know what changed but when I went into Young Womens I started really appreciating the church and all it offers. Everyone was so friendly, even when I was a crab and now everyone makes me so happy.

How I live my faith

Living your faith isn't that hard when you're raised in the church, things like immodest dress aren't a forced implement. More of now, if I wear something wrong, it's just plain uncomfortable. My friends know I'm a Mormon, or are so themselves, and they know not to swear or talk about stupid things around me. My favorite movies are by Disney, because any other ones just frustrate me.
