Hi I'm Mary Gadd

I became a convert during my twenties. I have discovered singing at the age of 63. I go to the local junior collage.

About Me

I am 67 years of age. I became a convert during my twenties. I have discovered singing at the age of 63. I go to the local junior collage and also take private vocal lessons. I love to sing all types of music, but especially classical. I just started a vegetable garden and have grown corn, brocrolini, peas, beats, radishes. I have a husband a daughter and two grand children. I love all of them very dearly. They are the most important people in my life as well as my two sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the LDS Church because the church holds the answers to all of my questions about life. I love the gospel. When two young men knocked on my door years ago they held the answers I had been seeking for all of my life. I love to constantly study and learn about the Bible, The Book of Mormon and other great works that contain the history of ancient times and todays trials.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly. I am an assistant librarian. I sing in the church choir and attend a weekly women's scripture class. I love the scripture class. The women inspire insights into the gospel which I love to hear. I love the church because we have structure and no matter where in the world you attend a meeting it always follows the same format. I also attend the temple regularly. Here I can pray and receive answers to my prayers. I love my church and feel I was blessed to become a member of the church. I am extremely proud to say " I am a Mormon".
