Hi I'm Crystal

I am a new mother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, travel, ride big roller coasters, spend time with family, and run. I've run many 5Ks and 5 Half Marathons. I enjoy doing crafts, but I'm not creative enough to think of my own crafts. I've worked in a bank for the past 7 years, but have recently traded that in to be a new mom to a sweet baby girl. I am taking an online class to be a medical claims and billing specialist so I can work from home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and baptized when I was eight-years-old. My parents taught me correct principals, but gave me agency to decide how to use what I'd been taught. Through their example and the examples and teachings of church leaders, I have made the choice to keep the commandments and follow the principles of this Gospel. I've seen the happiness that can come to others who have chosen to live a Christ-like life and experienced it for myself. I know that through keeping the commandments and following the prophet I can receive blessings without measure and strength through trials that come. I truly believe that the "little things" like reading scriptures, having daily prayer, attending church, etc, will bring us closer to Christ and to our families. Every part of my life is effected by my membership in this church and I am so grateful for the guidance it brings to my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to always choose the right. I attend church every Sunday, read my scriptures, have daily personal and family prayer, etc. I try to be a good example to others around me and find opportunities to serve others. I currently serve with the young women and I love my associations with them.
