Hi I'm Odessa

I was born in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Was adopted into a family of 10 people at age 3. And, Yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Odessa. I'm right now going to college and plan to continue doing so. I believe education is very important and I'm interested in a number of subjects from Mathematics, Science to Music and Art. Since being born with Cerebral Palsy I'm very determined to not let that stop me in achieving my goals. Once only able to use a walker I am know able to walk with arm crutches as well. Thanks to the Lord my parents and family support I was able to make the impossible possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I was adopted into a LDS (Mormon) Family when I was about 3 years old and have been in this church since. My love for this church must have started in primary. I have always loved singing and the messages in the primary songs (even at a very young age) started building my testimony of Jesus Christ. It was also my parents example who kept my faith strong in the church. They taught me the importance of Family Home Evening, Scripture Study and Prayer through example. When I was eight I was Baptized and Confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As the years went by and I got older my testimony only increased. Giving me a Greater understanding of Why we take the Sacrament. Why Christ's Atoning Sacrifice is so Important and what it means for all of God's children. I'm so Grateful for the knowledge that families can be together forever. That death is not the end. That though our sins be as Scarlet they can made clean as White as snow. I have grow such a strong Love and Testimony for our Savior Jesus Christ and for this church. I know that Jesus Christ lives today standing on the Right hand of His Father. Heavenly Father Who is the God of all Heaven and Earth. Who is also Our King and Our Father. I testify that this Church is the true Church. Jesus Christ being the Chief cornerstone. He and His Father loves each of us more then we can even imagine. We are all Heavenly Father's Children with a potential to become Gods and Godiesses like Him. In The Name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

Though I'm not perfect I strive everyday to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ. By striving to keep the Commandments diligently. Saying my morning and evening prayers. Reading and studying the scriptures and serving others.
