Hi I'm Danae

I'm fun, i'm crazy, i'm from Colorado, i'm a sports fanatic mostly the Red Sox, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the youngest of two kids with one big brother who is my best friend. I currently live with my beautiful mom and my wonderful dad. I am preparing to serve a LDS mission and attend BYU-Idaho in the Spring. I love to be outside and love to compete no matter what the challenge is.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a LDS family and went as a child until I began playing competitive sports which took place on Sunday. I left the church and went inactive for about 10 years until I came to found the church is true for myself. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ and that the Book of Mormon is from God. I have come to know that I have a heavenly father who loves me very much and knows me personally. I love this church and have been so happy since I have been back.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures and praying daily. I strive to live a better life every day and to serve others every chance I get. I try to be a good example to others and live like my heavenly father would loving everyone and helping those in need. I currently work with less active members of the church trying to bring them back to church like the missionaries did for me. I plan to serve a mission in the upcoming year.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No. Mormons are all about helping those in need no matter what faith, race, ethnicity, age, gender, or any other traits. A huge part of our faith is serving others to become more Christ like as we believe Christ lived serving others. We find great joy in serving knowing that we have helped someone often times a stranger who was in need. Show more Show less
