Hi I'm Jill

I'm an Dance Instructor. I'm an adoptive Mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been trying to figure out what to say about me. I always think my life is kind of boring. But this is not true. I have done alot of thing in my life that not everyone else could say. And that is my life and I love my life. I was born in Mesa, AZ but grew up in Hacienda Heights, CA. I graduated High School from California. I have been able to say that is where I found myself a minority in the church. We only had a few us of from high school that were members of the church. I cherished all my leaders that taught us. Now I have been married my wonderful husband for 11 years and adopted two children.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church. I too was born in the church but also have had my share of uncertainty. My mom was a convert to the church when she was twelve. My dad also grew up in the church like me. I remember my telling me a lot of things in her life that if it wasn't for the church she would have ended up somewhere else. I am glad she made that choice and my parents raised in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now with my own children, I am constantly wanting to share with them everything I have learned about the gospel.

How I live my faith

I am have been an advocate for adoption for 5 years now. He has been such a blessing in my life. I spread the word of adoption to everyone. Adoption has been such a passion for as much as the gospel has been in my life. Because everyone had known I have adopted, I have lots of people come up to me to ask me information about how we came about adoption. I tell them we used the church's adoption agency and how they encourage open adoption. For those who know that could be very unsure. But I can attest that it is the best thing for the cirlce of adoption, which are the Adoptees, Adoptive Parents and Birth families. We have fallen in love with our Birth Familes. They have become another family for us. Just like the gospel we can share our feeling and experiences with each other.
